ARCA streamlines used machinery imports via digital platform

The Agencia de Recaudación y Control Aduanero (ARCA) has introduced a new measure to streamline the importation of used machinery in Argentina. Through General Resolution 5892/2026, the agency has integrated the procedure for the Import Regime of Used Production Lines into the Ventanilla Única de Comercio Exterior Argentino (VUCEA).

Under this new digital framework, the approving resolution and the Constancia de Expediente en Trámite (CET) will be processed directly through the digital system. Required documentation will be sent to the Dirección General de Aduanas (DGA) for automatic validation within the Sistema Informático Malvina (SIM). The measure aims to reduce bureaucratic friction and accelerate operational times for the productive sector.
