Architectural and design highlights feature Cloud House and new furniture

Recent design highlights include Cloud House in London, a whimsical residence designed by Peter Morris Architects. Located on Vicars Road in Gospel Oak, the structure consists of two adjoining homes characterized by pastel pink finishes, oversized arches, and soft, cloudlike curves. The design was inspired by Miami’s Art Deco architecture and the arches of the nearby St Martin’s Church.

Other notable residential projects include the Wardrobe House in the Czech Republic by Šépka Architekti, a prefabricated kit-of-parts structure designed for teenage children, and Bellavista 11 in Ibiza, Spain, a minimalist white concrete villa by Fran Silvestre Arquitectos. Additionally, Think Architecture designed a house overlooking Lake Zurich, Switzerland, featuring an underground corridor.

In furniture design, Studio Hagen Hall introduced the SHH-001 sculptural coffee table, featuring cherry veneer legs and smoked glass. Designer Flora Lechner presented the Exo 01 vase, an aluminum and stainless steel structure inspired by body braces. Other featured pieces include cast glass tables by Anne Holtrop and a pleated cabinet by Didi Ng Wing Yin.
