Argamasilla de Calatrava unveils 2026 patron saint festival poster
The municipality of Argamasilla de Calatrava in Spain has selected the official poster for its 2026 patron saint celebrations honoring Nuestra Señora del Socorro. The artwork, titled “La Bienvenida,” was created by local artist María Jesús Muñoz Muñoz and depicts the traditional entry of the Virgin into the town’s streets on 7 September.
Mayor Jesús Ruiz praised the design for capturing the community’s devotion, noting that the image will be displayed from the town hall balconies and serve as a visual invitation for residents and visitors during the festivities scheduled for 4–9 September. Deputy mayor Sergio Gijón also highlighted the poster’s ability to represent the love of the townspeople for their patron saint.
