Arganda del Rey: Six seriously injured in A-3 highway collision
A serious traffic accident occurred on the A-3 highway near Arganda del Rey involving a collision between a van and a truck. The incident, which took place in the early hours of the morning, resulted in six people being seriously injured.
The occupants of the van, including two men approximately 40 years old and four women, required stabilization by SUMMA 112 emergency services before being transported to various hospitals in the Community of Madrid. The two men sustained severe traumatic brain injuries, with one also suffering severe thoracic trauma. The four women sustained various degrees of thoracic trauma. Firefighters were required to extricate three of the occupants from the vehicle.
The truck involved was transporting lime, which was confirmed not to be a hazardous material. The collision caused significant traffic delays on the highway as emergency teams worked to investigate the scene and clear the wreckage.
