Argentina Ministry of Economy acknowledges 3.1 billion peso debt for Entre Ríos works

The Argentine Ministry of Economy has officially acknowledged a debt exceeding 3.1 billion pesos owed to contractors for strategic sanitation infrastructure projects in the province of Entre Ríos.

The debt pertains to two major works originally managed by the former National Entity of Water and Sanitation Works (ENOHSA). In Concordia, the potable water production, transport, and distribution system is approximately 88.03% complete, yet the government owes the contractor 3,003,882,462 pesos. In Villaguay, the sewage system expansion project has reached 22.46% physical progress, with a recognized debt of 128,898,269 pesos.

The confirmation was provided by the Ministry, led by Luis Caputo, in response to a public information request regarding national transfers and works in Entre Ríos.
