Argentina advances provincial housing projects in Neuquén and Buenos Aires

Governor Rolando Figueroa visited the Balcón de la Meseta neighbourhood in Neuquén, where 96 new homes are being built with exclusively provincial funding after a federal‑funded version stalled in 2023. The construction is about 80% complete, with concrete structures finished and utilities installed, and deliveries are scheduled between next month and December 2024.

In the Buenos Aires province, Governor Axel Kicillof and Habitat Minister Silvina Batakis handed over seven newly built houses in Pellegrini. The development, financed with 292 million pesos by the provincial police fund and the municipality, is part of a broader effort to reduce the housing deficit, stimulate local economies and reinforce regional development.
