Argentina and Chile launch dog adoption initiatives

In Salta, Argentina, the municipal government and the Matías Nicolás Mansilla adoption centre introduced a World‑Cup‑themed figurine album, each card displaying a rescued dog’s details, to encourage the public to adopt.

The municipality of Luján, Argentina, announced that adult dogs at its Zoonosis facility are available for adoption. All are neutered, vaccinated and de‑parasitised; adopters must be over 18, have appropriate housing and commit to lifelong care, with follow‑up support provided by the city.
