Argentina and Colombia Unveil Tax and Water Bill Payment Relief Programs

Argentina’s La Rioja provincial government announced a tax moratorium covering four provincial taxes. The plan, backed by the provincial DGIP chief Luis Aguilar, offers a 100% interest waiver for taxpayers who settle debts in cash and scaled interest reductions for those who opt for installment plans, with debt eligibility up to June 30 and the moratorium initially running until October 30, extendable by another 120 days.

In Bogotá, Colombia, the city’s water utility (EAAB) is offering a payment‑agreement scheme for residents facing liquidity problems. Consumers can request a repayment plan online or in person to avoid service suspension, submitting the required form MPFF0405F02‑07 and supporting documents to the utility’s portal or email address.
