Neuquén and Entre Ríos announce economic measures amid regional tensions

In Argentina, Neuquén Governor Rolando Figueroa has secured agreements with the national government to maintain the 'Zona Fría' (Cold Zone) subsidy regime for Patagonia, protecting gas costs for residents. Additionally, Figueroa signed an agreement with Economy Minister Luis Caputo to settle national debts through the transfer of real estate assets, including properties from the Procrear program.

In the province of Entre Ríos, Governor Rogelio Frigerio announced a relief package for the tourism sector to combat economic difficulties. The measures include a 20% reduction in Gross Income tax rates, electricity subsidies (ranging from 4% to 15% depending on the size of the establishment), and low-interest credit lines for energy reconversion through the CFI and Fogaer.

Meanwhile, in Bolivia, agricultural producers in Yapacaní have issued a 48-hour ultimatum to the government. They threaten road blockades if a recent diesel price increase, which reaches nearly 100% for large consumers, is not reversed. Local authorities warn that such closures would disrupt food supplies and international trade.
