Additionally, Figueroa signed an agreement with Economy Minister Luis Caputo to settle national debts through the transfer of real estate assets, including properties from the Procrear program.

In Mendoza, the provincial government has submitted a bill to the legislature to ratify a debt compensation agreement signed by Governor Alfredo Cornejo and Minister Caputo. Under this deal, the national government recognizes credits owed to Mendoza totaling approximately $121.28 billion—stemming from the Fiscal Consensus, housing works, and maintenance on national routes 40 and 143. These credits will be offset against Mendoza’s debt of roughly $333.43 billion (primarily a $325 billion financial advance), leaving a remaining balance of $212.15 billion. The agreement, which requires ratification by both chambers, is estimated to provide a financial benefit of $7.67 billion by improving maturity profiles.
