Argentina: Asset declarations for Javier Milei and Máximo Kirchner released

Argentine President Javier Milei and Deputy Máximo Kirchner have released their latest asset declarations, revealing significant changes in their respective patrimonies.

President Milei reported a 43.3% nominal increase in his assets during 2025, with his total wealth rising from approximately $206 million to $295.2 million. This growth was driven by the revaluation of existing assets, including a property in Buenos Aires, and the increased peso value of his US dollar holdings. Milei also noted a new debt of $586,357 with Banco Supervielle. His sister and Presidential Secretary, Karina Milei, also saw a percentage increase in her assets.

Meanwhile, Máximo Kirchner reported a total patrimony of 11,000 million pesos, up from 8,311 million the previous year. His increase was attributed to foreign currency holdings, real estate revaluations, and corporate interests. Kirchner declared approximately $2.8 million in US dollars across various accounts. His real estate portfolio includes 27 properties, 19 of which are subject to a seizure order related to the Vialidad court case. His declaration also includes stakes in family companies, such as Los Sauces S.A. and Hotesur S.A., which are under investigation.
