GOL launches seasonal São Paulo–El Calafate–Ushuaia service for summer 2026‑27

Brazilian carrier GOL announced a seasonal triangular route linking São Paulo, El Calafate and Ushuaia. The service will operate from 26 November 2026 to 27 March 2027 with three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, using Boeing 737 aircraft.

The route is intended to deepen tourism ties between Brazil and Argentine Patagonia, offering direct access to the region’s natural attractions. The Instituto Fueguino de Turismo’s president Dante Querciali said the airline’s continuation of connectivity “reinforces Brazil as a key market for the Fin del Mundo.” Hotel‑association leader Pablo Perret highlighted that the link benefits not only El Calafate but the whole Santa Cruz province.

The launch follows GOL’s earlier Rio de Janeiro–Salta service, expanding its international network in South America.
