Brazilian airlines expand routes and launch promos

Overview

Brazil’s major carriers have continued to broaden their passenger and cargo networks throughout 2026. LATAM operates new nonstop services to Brussels, Cape Town, Ushuaia, Punta Cana and Bonito. To support the agribusiness sector, LATAM Brazil has launched daily Embraer E195-E2 flights linking Rondonópolis to São Paulo-Guarulhos, with plans to expand to seven weekly services by December 2026. LATAM also implemented daily flights between Brasília and São José do Rio Preto in late October.

GOL’s seasonal World-Cup routes, Manaus-Miami and Belo Horizonte-Curaçao, run through August. In mid-September 2026, GOL marked its entry into the European market by launching a new direct international route connecting Lisbon, Portugal, to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In October 2026, GOL completed its first simulated international round-trip certification flights between Rio de Janeiro and Lisbon using an Airbus A330-900neo.

Azul is also expanding its network for the 2026/2027 summer season. The airline is introducing seasonal routes to Foz do Iguaçu from Porto Alegre and Recife between December 2026 and February 2027. In Santa Catarina, the VOA + SC program will launch on November 3, connecting Florianópolis with ten cities including Joaçaba and Blumenau using Cessna Caravan aircraft. Azul Conecta is also expanding its regional footprint, deploying its first Cessna 408 SkyCourier in Manaus to support a four-year contract with Petrobras for worker transport between Manaus, Porto Urucu, and Carauari. Additionally, Azul Conecta will launch a seasonal service between São Paulo (Campo de Marte) and Angra dos Reis in late December 2026, restoring commercial passenger operations to Campo de Marte for the first time since the 1930s. Azul will also resume flights between Pelotas and Campinas starting October 26.
