In La Plata, Argentina, residents reported a gang breaking into homes, stealing valuables and exchanging the loot for narcotics. In Zulia, Venezuela, a 29‑year‑old worker was sentenced after he admitted stealing cash from his workplace to fund online gambling.

Chile’s Punta Arenas saw a 31‑year‑old woman placed in preventive detention for drugging victims she met through social media and then robbing them of cash and valuables. Additional crime reports from Argentina include the capture of a fraud suspect who posed as a social‑service promoter and the seizure of stolen equipment from a wood‑working shop in Virasoro.

These incidents illustrate a pattern of petty theft, sexual assault and drug‑linked robbery occurring across several Latin American and European locales.
