Argentina conducts CPR and first aid training for journalists

Health officials in Argentina conducted training sessions on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the Heimlich maneuver for social communicators and journalists. The initiative, held at the Salón del Bicentenario, aimed to equip first responders with the tools necessary to provide immediate assistance during emergencies before specialized medical teams arrive.

Dive Mohamed, General Director of Sanitary Management, emphasized that training the community is a fundamental tool for improving emergency response. The program was supported by the Ministry of Public Health and the provincial government to encourage citizens to recognize emergencies, request help, and initiate basic life-saving maneuvers.
