Argentina convenes assembly for Malvinas War veterans

The Vice-Chief of the Cabinet of the Interior has called for an assembly of provincial representatives of Malvinas War veterans. The meeting aims to elect regional representatives to the National Commission of Malvinas War Veterans, as well as a representative for the families of those fallen in combat.

According to Resolution 120/2026, signed by Vice-Chief of the Cabinet Gustavo Coria, the assembly is scheduled for October 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the headquarters of the Vice-Chief of the Cabinet of the Interior in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

Provincial representatives recognized under Resolution 21/2024 will participate. Those unable to attend in person may participate virtually via Zoom, provided they notify the Vice-Chief of the Cabinet of the Interior at least five business days in advance.
