Police rescue dozens of dogs from abuse in Argentina

Authorities in Argentina intervened in several animal‑abuse cases this week. In Villa Itatí, Resistencia, a seven‑month‑old puppy named "Blanca" was taken from a home after a complaint of neglect and placed under veterinary care, with the investigation continuing under the Rural and Environmental Investigation Prosecutor's Office.

In a separate incident, a man was formally charged with animal cruelty after five dead dogs were found inside a container.

Police also raided a residence in Charadai, rescuing ten dogs – four adults and six puppies – that showed signs of severe neglect. The operation seized a double‑barrel shotgun and ammunition. The rescued animals were placed in judicial custody and will be transferred to a protective foundation for medical treatment.
