Argentina expands public housing in Santa Fe and relocates Buenos Aires Commune 14
The Union of Civil Personnel of the Nation (UPCN) inaugurated the Parque Norte II housing complex in Santa Fe on 17 July, delivering 68 new apartments to families of public‑sector employees. The project is part of a broader UPCN housing program that already includes Parque Norte I and plans for Parque Norte III and IV, aiming to increase affordable home ownership for provincial workers.
Meanwhile, the municipal administration of Commune 14 in Buenos Aires began moving its offices to a new building at Avenida Santa Fe 4362. The relocation will centralise services such as citizen assistance, digital kiosks, driver‑license issuance, civil‑registry functions, social‑benefit programs and child‑rights advocacy. Operations are expected to normalise by August after the transition is completed.
