Argentina expands public‑sector training and digital recruitment initiatives

The La Rioja provincial government announced the fourth cohort of 2026 free training courses for state, provincial and municipal employees. Registration is open until 5 August and courses include collaborative work, Excel, Canva, and public‑writing skills, all certified by the Secretariat of Government.

Separately, the University of the Province of Cuyo (UPCN) met with the national Ministry of Labour to advance the implementation of digital public‑service recruitment contests. Officials discussed centralising applicant data in provincial HR units, digital registration, training of jurors and other procedural details. No official call for applications has been issued yet, but preparations for future contests are underway.
