Argentina fuel consumption shows regional variations in July 2026

Fuel consumption in Argentina showed varied regional results in July 2026 amid a national decline. While 21 of the 24 jurisdictions reported declines, Chaco stood out with a 7.8% increase in diesel sales.

In the Northeast region, results were mixed. Misiones and Corrientes saw significant cumulative drops of 8.9% and 9.8% respectively. In Entre Ríos, fuel sales fell by 4.7% in July, driven largely by a 7.9% contraction in gasoline demand. Within Entre Ríos, super gasoline sales dropped 8.7%, while premium gasoline fell 5.3%. Diesel sales in the province were more stable, decreasing only 1.4% overall, with premium diesel being the only segment to record a 1% increase.
