Argentina governors deliver new homes to families in San Luis and Buenos Aires

In the province of San Luis, Governor Claudio Poggi toured 40 houses under the “Tenemos Futuro” housing plan and announced that he will hand the keys to the new homes on December 22, two days before Christmas. He emphasized that the construction uses local labor and materials, keeping wages and economic benefits within the Merlo community.

In Buenos Aires Province, Governor Axel Kicillof, Habitat Minister Silvina Batakis and Mayor Cecilio Salazar handed over keys to families in San Pedro, delivering 15 of the 55 houses built in the Güemes neighbourhood. The project includes homes of 56‑58 m² with two bedrooms, kitchen, living‑dining area, bathroom and laundry. The remaining 40 houses are near completion. Officials highlighted the deliveries as evidence of provincial commitment to housing rights amid the national government's slowdown of housing construction.
