The sessions, held at two early‑childhood education sites, aimed to equip children with lifesaving skills and promote healthy habits.

In a related effort, a tobacco‑prevention workshop in the same province offered spirometry tests, carbon‑monoxide monitoring and counseling for residents over 40, emphasizing that smoking is linked to all major types of cancer. Participants received medical examinations and referrals to specialists as needed, and were encouraged to consider quitting with psychological support.

Both initiatives reflect the provincial government's strategy to integrate health education into community settings, targeting early‑life prevention and adult risk‑reduction in Argentina.
