Argentina holds educational congress and university open‑talk series

The 2nd Educational Congress will take place in Carlos Casares on 29 August at the ISFDyT N° 80 campus. Organized by the local community, the event, themed “The school as a horizon of possibilities,” will host speakers such as Dr Carina Kaplan of CONICET, who will discuss the emotional support role of schools, and academic Emilio Tenti Fanfani, who will examine changes in teacher authority.

The Universidad de Concepción del Uruguay has launched a free, public lecture series through its Distance Education Department. Beginning on 25 June, eleven open talks will cover topics ranging from school mediation and math teaching challenges in Argentina to gamification in English instruction, AI’s impact on professional practice, and advances in medical and physical‑education pedagogy. The series aims to showcase each program’s study modes, professional profiles and training opportunities while fostering community‑university interaction.
