Argentina hosts two art exhibition openings in August

The municipality of Puerto Madryn announced the opening of the visual art exhibition “Mujer naturaleza / Palabra espejo” by Argentine artist Adriana Cora at the Municipal Museum of Art (MuMA) on Saturday, 1 August. The show runs through August and September and combines photography, video, printed art and other media to explore the themes of woman, nature, word and mirror.

In Buenos Aires, the Instituto Patria’s Cultural Commission will inaugurate a photographic and documentary exhibition on the work of health posts (“Postas de Salud”) on Wednesday, 5 August, at the Néstor Kirchner Hall. The exhibit documents the evolution of the health‑post network from its early stages to more than one hundred interventions, highlighting the role of health workers in social movements and public health advocacy.
