Argentina August 2026 art exhibitions

In late July and early August 2026, several Argentine museums announced new exhibitions opening in August. The municipality of Puerto Madryn opened Adriana Cora’s multimedia show “Mujer naturaleza / Palabra espejo,” exploring woman, nature, word and mirror, scheduled to run through September. In Buenos Aires, the Instituto Patria’s Cultural Commission inaugurated a photographic and documentary exhibition on the evolution of health posts and the role of health workers in social movements.

Later in the month, Córdoba’s Museo Evita Palacio Ferreyra launched the collective exhibition “Fuerza Natural,” featuring seven projects that examine memory, territory, nature, technology and human‑environment relations, with a run through mid‑November. Simultaneously, the Isaac Fernández Blanco Museum of Hispanic American Art in Buenos Aires opened the photographic exhibition “Fueguinos,” presenting 19th‑ and 20th‑century images of the Selk’nam, Kawésqar and Yagan peoples of Tierra del Fuego, also scheduled to remain on view until November. Together, these openings illustrate a coordinated wave of cultural programming across Argentine institutions focusing on nature, indigenous heritage, and public health themes.
