Argentina hosts youth engagement and democratic participation events
Various youth engagement initiatives have been launched across Argentina to promote civic participation and personal development among young people.
In Cutral Co, the second Congress for Adolescents commenced at CPEM N° 20. The event features 22 thematic workshops coordinated with local health, justice, and gender institutions. Topics include mental health, school coexistence, digital citizenship, and social media. The initiative aims to provide students with tools for critical reflection and future planning.
In Santa Fe, the Municipal Council hosted the “Youth: Building Bridges for Democratic Participation” meeting. Targeted at individuals aged 16 to 35, the event was part of the European Union’s WYDE Civic Engagement program, implemented by Conciencia Ciudadana and the Latin American Youth Network for Democracy. The program focuses on empowering youth and women to participate actively in democratic processes.
