Argentina implements health safety training and AED installation
In observance of World Heart Day, several health and safety initiatives were conducted in Argentina. In Daireaux, an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) was installed in Plaza San Martín. To support this, local high school students participated in training sessions led by the Center for Studies and Accident Prevention (CEPA), covering CPR for adults, children, and infants, as well as the Heimlich maneuver and AED operation.
Additionally, staff at the Chamber of Deputies of the Province of Buenos Aires received intensive first aid and CPR training. The session, organized by the institution's presidency and conducted by the Corrientes branch of the Argentine Red Cross, focused on emergency response protocols, including managing hemorrhages, burns, and cardiac arrest.
