Argentina implements regional addiction recovery and mental health programs

Various regional initiatives in Argentina are addressing problematic substance consumption through community outreach and institutional programs.

In Concepción del Uruguay, the municipality is launching a cycle of activities titled ‘La recuperación es posible’ in collaboration with Narcóticos Anónimos. The program will visit several municipal health centers throughout October to provide information, foster dialogue, and offer tools for addiction recovery and mental health support.

In Santa Fe, the ASOEM union presented its ABRI Program at the 1st Municipal Congress of Mental Health and Problematic Consumption. Developed in partnership with the Municipality of Santa Fe, the program provides an interdisciplinary approach to support municipal workers facing addiction issues through counseling, accompaniment, and referral protocols.
