Infrastructure and road maintenance projects underway in Argentina and Spain

Various infrastructure and road maintenance projects are underway across Argentina and Spain.

In Argentina, several regional developments are reported: the Río Negro government is planning a new bridge on Route 151 to improve heavy traffic flow; a new bridge is being constructed over the Tabay stream in Jardín América using international FONPLATA funding; and Mendoza is improving 121 kilometers of rural roads in the San Rafael and General Alvear sectors. Additionally, repairs are being conducted on the Route 5 bridge at the Río Tercero reservoir, and the Costa Grande bridge in Corrientes has been repaired after weeks of being impassable. In Córdoba, paving is advancing on Route S-433, while in Tucumán, Governor Osvaldo Jaldo inaugurated new lighting and repaving works in Juan Bautista Alberdi. Furthermore, a federal court has ordered the immediate repair of national routes 33, 8, and 7 in the General López Department due to poor maintenance.

In Spain, the San Fernando City Council is renewing the paint on approximately one thousand pedestrian crossings to enhance road safety and visibility in high-traffic areas and school zones.
