Argentina judicial bodies implement new legal technology tools
Judicial authorities in Argentina are implementing new technological tools to modernize legal access and research.
The Judiciary of Chaco, through its Laboratory of Innovation and Indigenous Coordination, is launching an Intercultural Access to Justice Platform for Indigenous Peoples. This tool is designed to bridge the gap between native communities and the judicial system by addressing specific cultural and linguistic needs, aiming to reduce barriers to legal services.
In Córdoba, the Judiciary has opened Jurisemia to the public. This semantic search engine uses artificial intelligence and natural language processing to allow lawyers, researchers, and citizens to consult jurisprudence and judicial agreements using everyday language. Unlike traditional search methods, Jurisemia identifies conceptually related documents without requiring exact legal terminology, providing users with both full texts and analytical syntheses.
