The Asociación Judicial Bonaerense has defended Pascual, characterizing the backlash as political pressure and a campaign of discredit. Conversely, Judge Mirta Guarino rejected the scope of the suspension, ruling that “state structural failures do not justify the suspension of legislated laws.”

Regional implementation remains uneven. In Entre Ríos, the first case under the new regime involved a 16-year-old detained for cocaine possession. Tucumán has already applied the law, while San Juan and Neuquén are working on legislative and infrastructural adaptations. In Chaco and Corrientes, the law is being integrated into existing provincial frameworks, and Córdoba has prepared specialized housing modules within the Esperanza Complex.
