Argentina launches 24‑hour municipal veterinary hospital in Córdoba and police animal clinic in Neuquén

The Córdoba municipal government announced that construction of the new Municipal Veterinary Hospital of Emergencies is 75% complete. The facility, located on Corrientes 3086 in the San Vicente district, will operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and will include a veterinary emergency department, a laboratory, separate inpatient areas for dogs and cats, and an expanded animal sterilisation centre.

In Neuquén, the provincial police opened its own veterinary clinic for service dogs and horses at the Division Montada y Canes. The clinic provides round‑the‑clock clinical consultations, surgery and inpatient care, and is staffed by a police veterinarian and a team of trained animal‑care auxiliaries. Both projects aim to improve animal welfare, public health and operational readiness for service animals.
