Mexico, Argentina and Bolivia launch health outreach campaigns

Public health authorities in several countries have organized a series of preventive and medical outreach initiatives. In Mexico, the municipal government of Puerto Vallarta deployed a mobile clinic offering free general medicine, dentistry and optical services across neighborhoods from July 15‑18. In Argentina, municipal and hospital officials inaugurated a new vaccination center in Brandsen and a new point of vaccination in San Fernando, while also conducting external blood collection drives in Colonia Hinojo and Olavarría. Bolivia’s Sub‑governor of Obispo Santistevan announced a second voluntary blood‑donation campaign in Montero for July 29, aiming to secure supplies for emergencies. Paraguay’s Ministry of Health ran free HIV, syphilis and tuberculosis testing at the Expo 2026 health stand. Additional campaigns include a preventive‑hygiene program for the 2026 Fenapo fair in Bolivia, a series of blood‑donation days organized by the Institute Provincial de Hemoterapia in Argentina, and a cancer‑screening medical operation in Padre Las Casas, Dominican Republic. These efforts target thousands of residents, emphasizing vaccination, disease screening, and blood collection to strengthen local health resources.
