Argentina rolls out major road and infrastructure upgrades in Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Santa Fe and Neuquén

In Buenos Aires, officials opened the new north collector of the Dellepiane highway, a two‑lane segment linking Timoteo Gordillo street to Piedrabuena Avenue. Governor Jorge Macri said, “This is not just another work: it is the most important public work in the country,” noting benefits for over 200,000 drivers and thousands of residents.

Mendoza’s municipality of Guaymallén began a comprehensive traffic operation to accompany the Access East remodel, the province’s largest road intervention in 50 years. The plan bans parking along the entire north and south collector lanes, deploys about 30 traffic inspectors, and implements detours, signage and LED lighting to keep traffic flowing.

Along the Rosario‑Santa Fe highway, the YPF Arocena service station at km 101 will close for eight months starting 6 July for a full refurbishment, with reopening slated for January 2027. Drivers are advised to refuel at nearby stations at km 28, km 78, or km 146.

In Neuquén, traffic resumed on Copahue Street and Olascoaga Avenue after six months of total closure for sewer works. Authorities also announced further paving projects on Copahue and the construction of the “Terraza Norte” gastronomic complex, which will include underground parking for about 650 vehicles.
