Argentina moves ahead with major sewer and health‑center expansions in Suipacha and Neuquén

In the Buenos Aires province town of Suipacha, authorities held a public consultation on a sewer‑system expansion and treatment‑plant rehabilitation that will extend sewage coverage to 100 % of urban and suburban areas. The project includes two new pump stations and a full overhaul of the existing plant, with an estimated cost of over 13 billion Argentine pesos financed through an international credit program managed by the Province of Buenos Aires.

In Neuquén’s Valentina Sur neighborhood, construction continues on the expansion and remodeling of the local health centre. The works, started in December 2025 and budgeted at more than 1.1 billion pesos, will add new dental, general‑medicine and gynecology consultancies, a multi‑use hall and improved sanitary facilities. Service delivery is being maintained via temporary modules and extended hours while the renovation proceeds.

Both projects are part of provincial efforts to improve essential public services, boost health and environmental outcomes, and accommodate growing local populations.
