Argentina municipal programs deliver civil services to local neighborhoods
The municipality of Nueve de Julio organized a "Municipio Cercano" outreach in the town of Facundo Quiroga on June 17. Municipal offices provided direct assistance, including traffic safety talks for schoolchildren, consumer‑rights advice, hand‑washing education, waste‑separation workshops, business consultations, animal‑care services such as vaccination and castration, and on‑site driver‑license renewals.
In Córdoba, the municipal Directorate of Civil Registry held "Operativo DNI" events on June 18‑19 in the Cáceres and Maldonado neighborhoods. Residents could obtain new identity documents, request changes of address or gender, and file birth, marriage or death certificates free of charge. The sessions also offered guidance for pregnant women on provincial health programs and information on digital platforms for civic services.
