Argentina opposition deputies denounce President Milei and cabinet chief amid censure motion

Deputy Graciela de la Rosa, speaking at a recreational event for seniors organized by the Institute of Social Pensions in Formosa, praised Governor Gildo Insfrán’s inclusion policies and warned that the nation faces a “corruption act” at the top of the government. She said a censure motion against the national chief of staff, Manuel Adorni, will be debated in the lower house, accusing President Javier Milei of backing the alleged corruption and demanding Adorni’s resignation.

Deputy Marianela Marclay, addressing a gathering in Concepción del Uruguay, harshly criticised Milei’s policies for “attacking the most vulnerable” and highlighted the recent declaration of a national emergency over gender‑based violence. She noted the lack of reliable statistics and pledged support for NGOs, universities and families affected by the government’s austerity measures, insisting that social actors must be heard and protected.
