Argentina poll finds half of libertarian supporters say economy worsened under Milei

A June survey of 800 Argentine adults conducted by D’Alessio‑Irol‑Berensztein shows 43% of libertarian voters say their personal economic situation is worse than a year ago; the figure rises to 67% when all political groups are considered. Fifty‑seven percent expect the economy to be worse in 2027.

Overall, 58% of respondents evaluate President Javier Milei’s administration negatively, a drop of two points from the previous measurement, while 40% express support for the government. Despite the economic concerns, 85% of libertarian respondents still approve of Milei’s performance. By contrast, 99% of Peronist voters and 72% of United Provinces voters reject his administration.

Sixty‑six percent say the general economic climate is poorer than in 2025, though 40% believe it will improve. The top personal worries are insufficient income (62%), public‑service costs, economic uncertainty and insecurity. Image ratings place Patricia Bullrich first with 43% positive, followed by Axel Kicillof, Milei (36% positive, 60% negative) and Cristina Kirchner (30% positive, 64% negative). Guillermo Francos achieved a balanced rating of zero.
