Argentina polls show deep public dissatisfaction with Milei government

The July 2026 ESPOP survey by the University of San Andrés found that only 30% of Argentines are satisfied with the overall direction of the country, while 68% express dissatisfaction. Major concerns include lack of jobs (38%), corruption (38%) and low wages (35%). Poverty affects 27% of the population, and approval of President Javier Milei stands at 34% with a 62% rejection rate.

A separate Casa Tres poll conducted at the end of June shows that Karina Milei, the president’s chief of staff, has a 65% negative image and only 27% positive. President Javier Milei’s approval is 40% versus 57% disapproval, and other political figures such as Patricia Bullrich and Cristina Kirchner register mixed ratings. The surveys also reveal a pessimistic outlook for the coming year, with a majority expecting the situation to worsen.
