Argentina provinces open bids for university medical building and school upgrades

In San Luis province, Governor Claudio Poggi oversaw the opening of bid envelopes for the completion and commissioning of Module I of the National University of Villa Mercedes (UNViMe) medical faculty. The project, budgeted at over 2.6 billion Argentine pesos, will finish construction, install utilities and equip the 3,200 m² building for Medicine and Health Sciences programs. Offers were received from firms MC Servicios SRL, Carreras y Gutiérrez SA, Jorma SA and Starq SRL.

The Salto Grande Special Fund (CAFESG) announced two separate bid openings in the department of Federación. The first, on 19 June, concerns a new reinforced‑concrete sewer on the access road to Colonia La Argentina, budgeted at 173 million pesos. The second, on 26 June, covers the expansion and refurbishment of the Special School N° 16 “Dr. Arturo Illia”, including kitchen, dining and infrastructure upgrades, with an official budget of 334 million pesos. Both projects total more than 507 million pesos and aim to improve local infrastructure and public services.
