Argentina provinces roll out student training and apprenticeship programs

In Florencio Varela, mayor Andrés Watson and the Provincial Council of Education and Work formalised 42 apprenticeship agreements for final‑year students of technical high schools Nº 2 and Nº 3. The placements cover roles in the health, public works, services, environment and urban‑planning departments, giving youths hands‑on experience in the municipal workforce.

In Ushuaia, the provincial Ministry of Labor and Employment conducted a series of workshops for more than 60 adult students enrolled in secondary education centres CENS 15 Anexo Río Pipo and CENS 364. The training addressed public speaking, CV writing, interview techniques and conflict‑resolution communication, aiming to improve employability for young people re‑entering the labour market. Both initiatives are part of a broader provincial effort to provide practical skills and job‑ready tools to students across Argentina.
