Argentina: CNE opens provisional voter registry for 2027 elections

The National Electoral Chamber (CNE) has enabled the provisional voter registry for Argentina’s 2027 national elections. Citizens can verify their personal data and submit claims regarding errors or omissions through the official website, padron.gob.ar, until November 30.

This preliminary stage allows voters to confirm their inclusion in the National Registry of Electors. It is particularly relevant for young people who will be voting for the first time. The current registry displays names, surnames, electoral sections, and circuits, but does not yet include specific voting locations, tables, or addresses. Such details will be provided in the definitive registry.

The 2027 elections, scheduled for October 24, will include the election of the President and Vice President, as well as the partial renewal of the National Congress, with 130 seats in the Chamber of Deputies and 24 in the Senate up for election.
