Argentina road authorities implement infrastructure and maintenance projects

In Misiones, the provincial road authority (DPV) is constructing a permanent weighing station in Santa Ana on Provincial Route 103. Located approximately 3 kilometers from the intersection with National Route 12, the facility aims to ensure cargo vehicles comply with maximum weight limits to protect road infrastructure and enhance traffic safety. The project includes a deceleration lane, a waiting zone, a weighing dock, a maneuvering area, and an acceleration lane.

Simultaneously, National Road Authority (Vialidad Nacional) is supervising maintenance works on the Pampa section of National Route 5. These interventions include pothole repair, crack sealing, and concrete slab repairs in areas such as Alberti, Chivilcoy, Mercedes, Pehuajó, Trenque Lauquen, and Catriló. Additionally, a major project on the Luján–Mercedes highway has seen the complete rehabilitation of over 1,500 lights to improve nighttime driving conditions.
