Argentina rolls out integrated child‑care programs in Entre Ríos and Santa Cruz

The provincial government of Entre Ríos inaugurated the CrecER program in Rosario del Tala, a joint effort of the ministries of Human Development, Health and Sports, municipal authorities and local health agencies. The first session provided nutritional and health screenings, vaccination checks, ophthalmologic exams, and recreational activities for more than 40 children, while officials highlighted the goal of promoting healthy habits and comprehensive child development.

In Río Gallegos, the municipal government signed a cooperation agreement with Santa Cruz’s Ministry of Social Development to implement the PAINA (Programa para la Atención Integral de la Niñez y Adolescencia) scheme. The pact secures funding for protection, promotion and rights‑restoration services for children, adolescents and families, with the city planning immediate assistance, legal‑conflict workshops, and training resources.

Both initiatives reflect an inter‑governmental strategy to strengthen child welfare services across Argentina’s regions.
