Argentina rolls out new online portals for education choices and civil registry services

The Ministry of Bienestar Ciudadano y Justicia in the province of Tierra del Fuego has launched a unified web portal that presents the complete offering of local educational and vocational programmes. The site aggregates more than 23 institutions and roughly 450 programmes, including technicaturas, licenciaturas, curriculum‑complementary cycles and labour‑training courses, giving residents an interactive way to explore and compare options.

The Ministry of Government in the province of San Juan has introduced an automated web portal and virtual assistant for the Directorate of the Civil Registry. The system lets citizens schedule appointments and retrieve information on births, marriages, deaths, identity documents and other civil‑status procedures without waiting in line. In its first weeks it recorded 18,632 sessions from 14,229 unique users and exchanged over 900,000 automated messages, providing 24/7 service without human intervention.
