Argentina rolls out new school laptop distribution in San Juan and adds computers to Santa Fe technical school

The government of San Juan province announced that laptops will be delivered to fifth‑grade primary students, second‑year secondary students, and primary‑level teachers by late August. Minister of Education Silvia Fuentes said the devices are already in the country and the rollout is part of the "Maestro de América, cultivando el futuro" program, which aims to distribute 30,000 computers across the province in 2025 (25,000 for students, 5,000 for teachers).

In Santa Fe, the provincial authorities together with the municipality of Venado Tuerto handed over 30 computers to the technical school EETP Nº 602 "General San Martín". Mayor Leonel Chiarella attended the ceremony, noting that the contribution comes from the Provincial Technical Education Fund and is intended to strengthen technical training and digital resources for students.
