Argentina seeks former police commissioner accused of abusing minors

Authorities in Argentina are searching for former Police General Adolfo Miguel González, 63, following allegations of repeated sexual abuse against two minors. The victims, aged 11 and 16, reported that the abuse occurred between 2019 and 2023.

The case came to light after the 11-year-old victim expressed fear of being left alone with the suspect while her mother, a current police commissioner, was traveling. Family members of the victims have reported that the suspect used psychological and physical violence to maintain control and threats.

Judge Juan Manuel Monte of the Second Instruction Court of Posadas has issued an immediate arrest warrant for González, who remains a fugitive. Police investigations are ongoing to locate the suspect.
