Search for fugitive former Argentine police general

Overview

Authorities in Misiones, Argentina, are conducting a search for retired Police General Adolfo Miguel González, who is a fugitive facing an arrest warrant. The warrant was issued by Judge Juan Manuel Monte following allegations of repeated sexual abuse against two minors, aged 11 and 16, occurring between 2019 and 2023.

Reports indicate the suspect allegedly used physical and psychological violence to maintain control. The investigation gained momentum after an 11-year-old victim expressed fear of being left alone with the suspect.

In an effort to locate González, the Cybercrime and Complex Investigations Directorates conducted a raid in Posadas. During the operation, police seized a mobile phone and recovered WhatsApp conversations. Investigators are currently analyzing digital evidence, including call logs and contact networks, to reconstruct the fugitive’s recent movements.
