Argentina weather forecast predicts temperature shifts and incoming storms
Argentina is set to experience significant meteorological shifts as seasonal transitions approach. In Patagonia, a high-pressure system will temporarily stabilize conditions and raise temperatures, though a subsequent cold front from the Pacific is expected to bring new rain and snow to mountainous sectors. Wind gusts in the Chubut steppe could exceed 85 km/h, while some southern areas may see minimum temperatures near -10°C.
In central and northern Argentina, a shift in wind circulation will trigger a rapid rise in temperatures. Starting Thursday, temperatures are expected to exceed 20°C in central regions, with northern areas potentially reaching 35°C by the end of the week. Following a warm period, a cold front arriving Sunday will bring rain, storms, and a sharp temperature drop, beginning in southwest Buenos Aires province before spreading across the territory.
