Argentina Youth Business Programs Launch Mendoza Award and Celebrate J6 Decade
The Federación Económica de Mendoza opened registrations for the Premio Joven Empresario Mendocino 2026, targeting entrepreneurs aged 18‑40 with active CUITs operating in Mendoza. Applications are accepted until 10 August, with the award ceremony scheduled for 18 August. Winners will be chosen across eight categories—including innovation, social impact, and international projection—and the overall young entrepreneur will represent the province at a national competition organized by CAME Joven.
Separately, the J6—the youth arm of Argentina’s six major business chambers—marked its 10‑year anniversary at Expo Rural 26 in Palermo. The event, themed “A Decade of Dialogue for Development,” gathered business, political, technology and social leaders. Chancellor and Minister Pablo Quirno opened the ceremony, while speakers such as Lucas Vidal Podestá, María Furtado, Guillermo Dietrich, Eduardo Bastitta and Ernesto Allaria discussed the challenges and opportunities facing young entrepreneurs in an uncertain economic environment.
